The mission of the organization is to advocate on behalf of African American women and the African American community. The NCBW of San Antonio sees to empower women through programs that meet their diverse needs while promoting the awareness of African American culture; networking developing leadership in economic, health, education, and political arenas, and serving as mentors and role models for economically disadvantaged and under-served women.

The San Antonio Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women is excited to offer mentoring sessions to girls ages 10-18.

Topics include such things as:

  • Educational activities with a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) focus
  • Learning to cultivate a healthy lifestyle with knowledge and attention to nutrition and physical and mental fitness
  • Enriching oneself through personal development and financial literacy
  • Navigating success in life with planning and goal setting
  • The value of choosing Excellence

This program is for girls 10-18 years old.
